Meet the team
Keith Harris – Chairman 
Keith Harris began his organising and publishing career in the Materials Handling sector in 1967, and has had a continual association with the sector ever since. Over the past 40-odd years he has been involved with the organising of many hundreds of shows in a huge variety of locations and sectors.
Now, as well as being Chairman of The Quartz Group, Keith is also chairman of VOS Media Ltd - a major consumer event company which organises, amongst others, The Ski Show - and International Antiques & Collectors Fairs Ltd, which is the UK’s largest operator in the sector with 30 fairs attracting over 20,000 stall holders annually.
Keith is a keen skier and an even keener golfer... when he has the time!
Paul R. Michael - Managing Director 
Paul is currently Managing Director of Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Ltd, and has worked in the exhibition and trade publishing sector for the last 40 years. He has been involved with the Materials Handling and Logistics industry for the past 15 years, and launched the International Materials Handling Exhibition in the UK, now one of the top three exhibitions in Europe.
In the Materials and Logistics industry, Paul and Keith work closely with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the British Industrial Truck Association, the latter has affiliations with the Fork Truck Assoc of America. In the cleaning and Support Services industry, they both work closely with The British Cleaning Council, British Institute of Cleaning Science and other association bodies. Paul is a member of the industry’s Livery Company in the City of London, The Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners and was its Master in 2004. Paul is a council member of the Association of Event Organisers.
